Zenith Home Corp., the industry leader in bathroom storage and organization, is
seeking to hire a Human Resources Assistant.
Zenith operates a Fabrication & Assembly Factory, with 300+ employees running 24 hours a day. It encompasses a variety of Bath Products, Production Processes, and Different Materials. The factory specializes in Low cost, High Value consumer retail products primarily used in the bathroom. Such as cabinets, fixtures, rods, hooks, mirrors, etc.
Job Summary:
An HR Assistant, or Human Resources Assistant, is a professional who performs daily administrative and human resources duties in an organization. Their duties include assisting with recruitment, payroll processing, compiling, maintaining records and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supports human resources processes by administering tests, scheduling appointments, assisting orientation, maintaining records and information.
- Schedules examinations by coordinating appointments.
- Welcomes new employees.
- Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
- Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
- Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
L&D (Learning and Development) – finds financial and sound ways to teach and develop our staff.
Research and implement the full employee experience such as engagement surveys, 360 feedback, recognition and rewards, 30-60-90-day checkpoints, etc.
Assist HR Generalist with sourcing, background checks and interview set ups.
Assist in EE Investigation Intake and Draft
Assist in keeping track of T&A Points (time and attendance points)
Be a backup to HR Clerk to triage employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
Train to backup Payroll, Recruitment and Benefits
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend and follow directions.
- Detail Oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' direct Human Resources experience required.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to commute to the office in New Castle, DE 5 days a week.
- Work hours are usually Mon to Fri, 8 to 5. An occasional couple extra hours per week will be needed. Work could occur on the weekend. However, it is rare.
- Flexible work hours.
- Must be able to travel, and be out for short distance, and short duration trips, for no more than 2 or 3 trips per year.
